I have always had a deep connection to animals ever since I was young. I knew I wanted to work with animals in some way, and my added interest of medicine/healthcare made this the perfect field for me.
I love being able to help all the fur babies whether that be by protecting them from disease through something as simple as routine vaccines or helping to provide treatments for more complex issues.
I completed my 5-week college externship at SAAH, and everyone was very welcoming and kind to me throughout the process. Seeing how caring the staff is towards the patients and each other made me want to stay on full time.
I enjoy kayaking and hiking with my friends and family as well as hanging out with all of my fur babies!
